I bought it anyway and have had it for about three weeks. Setup went well and the optional gigabit ethernet board was very easy to install. The PCL driver installed with a minimum of fuss. The printer seems very fast to me and the 1200×1200 output is crisp even with a 12× loupe. I've only tested the duplex feature, but it worked well in the test. I haven't been through the color calibration yet, but the off the shelf calibration isn't bad. In all, I'm happy with it. I was put off by the lack of reviews, so I hope this helps someone. |
