This printer has a great image quality. Even pictures look great. I have not tried it on photo paper but I did put card stock through and it looked great. My old hp color laser had a hard time with card stock and would print with smears and bits of ink missing here and there if the paper wasn't standard thickness. The speed is good too. It doesn't have a ton of paper holding capacity so it may not be good for a big office but for home use it is really perfect. It was really easy to set up and having the wireless feature, my husband can print from his laptop or phone. The big drawback, as is true with most color printers, is the ink price. We spent more on replacement toner than we did on the printer. Also, common with most printers, it did not come with fully loaded ink cartridges but instead with much smaller starter cartridges (which is why we got the replacement toner right away).

2.0 out of 5 stars No warning of low ink!, March 9, 2012

I only complaint is in regards to the ink price and the fact that there is no warning about replacing the ink! That is my biggest complaint. This printer has left me hung to dry. Usually you have a lower quality print out when the ink is truly getting low which gives you time to order more, but not with this printer. It just decides when the ink is low even though the last page printed looks as good as the first page printed with the cartridge. Very dissapointed. You can't even shake it to get the fullet use out of the cartrige. I don't feel it uses all of the ink, because when I did shake it, ink power came out. I run a small business and now I am litterly out of commission until my order arrives. I paid for next day delivery and after completing my order the estimated ship date is a over a week from the date I ordered!

3.0 out of 5 stars Expensive toner; wireless setup a hassle - otherwise OK, January 26, 2012

My only two gripes with this printer is the expensive toner and the wireless set up. I previously owner a Dell Wireless V313W ink jet printer and the wireless set up was a snap. However, when I went through the 1355CNW wireless setup wizard it kept telling me that my SSID was "incorrect". There was no other error message. I couldn't figure out why I kept getting this error. After all, the same SSID worked with my V313W. I couldn't figure out if it was a problem with my wireless network, my router, the printer etc. After some troubleshooting I realized that the wizard didn't like underscores in the SSID name. Of course that meant that I had to change the name of my SSID which turned out to be a bit of hassle.
