Besides, I out grew that printer and wanted to move up get a duplex/network printer. I looked at all major printers for months. It finally came down to Hp and Lexmark. I've have problems with Hp's non support of drivers for Vista®, drivers. Technical support is also an issue and their quality just isn't there anymore. A company I once worked for had many Lexmark printers that stayed on 24-7 for years. They really had little problems. The research that I did indicated that Lexmark's quality and support is excellent so I chose the Lexmark E460DN.
The printer arrived via UPS® as expected. I unpacked the printer but allowed it to sit and stabilize for a couple of hours (this is always a good idea with electronic equipment) before applying power.
