Overall, this color printer functions well. Our company has purchased two units of this particular model. It prints on ledger size (11"x17") which is what we needed.

Printer components that our office had issues with and still have issues with are:

*Calibrations occur after each "sleep" mode and right before a print job, which takes several minutes to complete.
*Wait for customer service was horrible... we called twice, and each time we waited 30 minutes before someone answered our call.

I have used this printer for over a year now on a Mac network. I print engineering reports and photo reports. The photos print out and look great, but the printer lacks in it's ability to print out crisp text documents. On the whole, printed reports are not acceptable to give to clients because the text comes out blurry. It does not seem to matter if it's a .doc, .pdf or .txt, document, the text still comes out blurry. The worst condition occurs when it prints in bold. I complained to the KM service department and after about six months, KM ended up sending me a refurbished printer after trying to fix it for two months. The refurbished printer is better with respect to the blurry font, but it still lacks in printing out a crisp clean type font. Previously, I purchased several Xerox Phaser printers. This was never an issue with the Phaser printers. I still use a Phaser 6250, and there is no comparison between these two printers when it comes to printing an 8.5x11 text page. The Phaser...Read more

Accepts fairly heavy paper (60-80# if I remember correctly) without significant jamming or print issues. With heavier papers (non Epson) we lose about 10% of prints to print smearing, etc.

Not a perfect 'print and forget' product. Required a fair bit of experimenting to find the right marketing portfolio papers that would print well enough. No doubt Epson paper does better but we wanted to be able to use paper from our local print office (don't like having to buy reams of paper sight unseen online).

All software works great. Wish HP could make network functions as well as Epson does.

Would be nice to see this product to come down in price. We bought off Amazon for a significant discount 1 year ago. Epson should also make this an AIO for true flexibility.
