Highly functional but not very user friendly,

We had a demo of this machine (before we bought it) which was very impressive because of the various capabilities (e.g. multi-page copying, stapling, binding; built-in image manipulation/border removal etc.).
However, in everyday life it turns out that the user interface is very non-intuitive. After having used it a couple of times, most functions are still a mystery to me; I have not been able to figure out how to switch from color to b/w, what the function of the last page/next page buttons are (no, they do not do what they say they do), why multi-page files arrive as single pages, why sometimes nothing happens at all etc.
Very frustrating overall, and I am not the only one of my team who has had problems. I am sure it is very easy ONCE YOU KNOW, but I used other copiers which were much more intuitive and easier to understand. Maybe I am dumb, but at least I managed to I get a PhD, which didn't help me figure out this thing.
